Workload Proof Pilot

A bounded implementation of one workload, tested against examples and acceptance criteria you agree up front.

Discuss a pilot From $8,000 · Typically 3–6 weeks

Who it is for

Teams with a completed assessment, or an equivalent clear brief, who need evidence before committing to production spend.

Engagement journey Four stages: Assess gives a decision, Pilot gives evidence, Deploy gives a service, Operate gives ongoing support. You can stop after Assess or Pilot, for example to stay hosted. Performance Rescue is a separate entry for existing deployments that joins at Deploy. Stop: stay hosted, or not yet A valid, paid-for outcome Performance Rescue for existing deployments 01 Assess → Decision 02 Pilot → Evidence 03 Deploy → Service 04 Operate → Support You are here Engagement journey Assess gives a decision, Pilot gives evidence, Deploy gives a service, Operate gives support. Each stage stands on its own and ends in something you can use. Stopping after an assessment or pilot is a normal, paid-for outcome.

The problem it resolves

Demos succeed on hand-picked questions and fail on real ones. A pilot replaces impressions with measurements on your own tasks.

What we need from you

  • An agreed test set: questions or tasks with expected outcomes
  • Access to an approved environment (yours, or one we provision to your specification)
  • Authorised sample data and the permission model that governs it
  • A named person who will accept or reject the result

What you receive

  • Working implementation of the agreed workload in the approved environment
  • Evaluation report: answer quality, retrieval and permission tests, time to first token, end-to-end latency and resource use
  • Versioned record of the model, runtime, quantisation, hardware and settings tested
  • A list of external dependencies found, such as authentication, updates and telemetry
  • Production recommendation and a fixed quote for the next stage

Not included

  • Organisation-wide rollout
  • High-availability or disaster-recovery setup
  • Ongoing support after the pilot period

How the result is accepted

  • Agreed pass thresholds on the test set are met, or the report explains why not and what would change that
  • No cross-user document leakage in the permission tests
  • Results can be reproduced from the recorded configuration

Commercial structure

From $8,000, typically 3–6 weeks. Excludes hardware, taxes and third-party licences. Final price is fixed in a written scope before work starts.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if the pilot fails its acceptance criteria?

You get a report explaining why, what would need to change, and whether it is worth continuing. A clear "no" is a valid and useful result.
